Graphing Calculator

Plot mathematical functions instantly. Enter one or more functions of x — like x^2, sin(x) or 1/x — then zoom, pan and download the graph as an image.

How to use the Graphing Calculator

  1. 1Type a function of x such as x^2, sin(x) or 1/x into the function box.
  2. 2Click “Add function” to plot several curves together for comparison.
  3. 3Drag the graph to pan and use the zoom buttons to change scale.
  4. 4Click “Download PNG” to save the graph as an image.

How to plot functions

Enter any function of x using standard notation: x^2 for powers, sqrt(x), sin(x), cos(x), tan(x), log(x) (base 10), ln(x), abs(x) and the constants pi and e. Add multiple functions to compare them — each gets its own color.

Scroll or use the zoom buttons to change scale, and drag to pan around the plane. The Download PNG button exports exactly what you see, ready for homework or presentations.

Reading graphs effectively

Roots are where the curve crosses the x-axis; intersections of two curves are solutions of f(x) = g(x). Vertical asymptotes appear where a function blows up — try 1/x or tan(x) and notice the breaks; the plotter deliberately splits the curve there instead of drawing false vertical lines.

Frequently Asked Questions

What functions are supported?

Polynomials, sin/cos/tan and inverses, sqrt, abs, exp, ln and log, plus the constants pi and e. Combine them freely, e.g. sin(x)/x or x^3 - 2*x.

Can I export the graph?

Yes — click Download PNG to save the current view as an image.

Can I plot more than one function?

Yes — click 'Add function' to plot several curves in different colors on the same axes.
